Hello there, I'm thinking about upgrading to this setup and i would like you guys to tell me what you think. I bought i PC from pcs in 2011 and i kinda made a lot of mistakes with the setup.

This PC is mainly for gaming, i want to be able to play games smooth and not have to upgrade for a good 3 years, i hope. I'm worried about the Case because my last PC has heat issues and i don't want to be worrying every time i play a game.

Well there's Planetside 2 that runs terrible and battlefield 3 i have to play on medium to get 60fps, Also there is BF4 coming end of 2013. I'm the kinda person that wants to play games at max settings with smooth(60fps) gameplay. My head is set on getting a new gaming beast lol Just dont no if im thinking on buying to early or should wait.

If you want to max most games at the highest settings with +60 fps you would need a SLI set up gtx 670 (your 2nd spec)

If it were mine then I'd wait, probably another year. But it's a matter of what you want in an upgrade and how you prefer to spend your money.

Have you thought about upgrading the GPU on your current machine? You could try the old machine with a GTX-670 and if you are not happy, get a whole new machine anyway and put that new GPU into it (also getting another 670 at the same time and running them in SLI).

Hey Toxophilix, and thanks Keynes for the help :). I was thinking about that but abit worried if my phenom x4 970 would cause a bottleneck on my rig with a GTX670. im not sure.

If you do get a new PC instead of upgrade, the 1866MHz RAM is exactly the same price as the 1600MHz and the 2400MHz Beast is just an extra £4.
