Well, I'd have probably gone for a slightly better case and one of the Caviar Black drives for the hard drive.

Does kinda depend what youre going to be using it for though :)

i believe that monitor used with a hdmi cable lets you play sound through its speakers meaning you wouldnt need desktop speakers could anyone confirm?

But you then would need an HDMI cable which costs about the same as those speakers :)

Yes, I did get an HDMI cable from Amazon for £1.49 as well.

Re: the card, what's so bad about it? I'm generally using it for Internet Browsing, Working on Word/Excel/Photoshop/Dreamweaver and occasionally a couple of games (Football Manager mostly)

Would it suffer on that?

No it will do fine for your needs.

My biggest problem before, was that if I had an internet browser open, word, excel, photoshop & dreamweaver, then my old computer would just grind to a halt, but as I need them all for work then it saves time having them open.

Hopefully with this it wont be so much of an issue?

that would be pretty much down to RAM and how much memory you can have available at one time

firefox 5 512MB of RAM

word 512 MB RAM recommended for certain advanced functionality.

excel 256 megabytes (MB) RAM or higher.

photoshop 1GB of RAM

dreamweaver 512MB of RAM

looks good enough to me
