3 Year Silver Warranty (1 Year Collect & Return, 1 Year Parts, 3 Year Labour) (£5)

Price £382.00. Doesn't include the Graphic Card. I think in total it is £467. Plus £50 for a second hand monitor with 6 months warranty from a high rated seller from ebay and £60 for a second hand Windows 7.

Yeah I know I shouldn't get Windows 7 in second hand, specially since its only a £20 difference, but its a high rated seller so I'll take my chances. I should be alright, only problem is I've to install it myself and get the updates, plus I can't have Office, but I've been using OpenOffice.org for a long time anyway.

In total it is £577.

The monitor is this one:
Acer P195HQL - 18.5" Widescreen LCD PC Monitor

Could have I done better?

EDIT: Oh and Windows 7 is full edition, comes with 32bit and 64bit, so I can install the 32bit on the old desktop.

You can only install the OS once - either 32 bit or 64 bit, with retail versions. Nice spec :)

Oh, you mean I don't actually have two licenses, one for 32bit and another for 64bit?

Wasn't aware of that. But it ain't much of a problem. It will keep the XP.
