i've been wondering whether i should get a gaming/recording pc for for a while now, it's finally come! I'll be ordering the pc within the week and i would like to ask about your opinion on it,

My budget is around £1000-£1300

For your budget I'd go with an i5 or i7. The i5 is about the same performance wise as the 8350 and the i7 is considerably better. Also, upgrade to the caviar black HDD and maybe add an SSD if it'll fit in your budget.
