Are the antenna attached on the wifi card?
Sorry i'm not very good with this stuff how do I know if it is?

Just have a look at the back of the PC and see if there are 2 antenna sticking out.

See above the power cable into the PC, there are 2 gold connectors, they need the antenna screwing in to them. The antenna should be in the welcome box.

Yes, those are them, they just screw on to the gold receivers.
