Hi There,

Someone on here built me this PC on here a few months ago, but unfortunately the link has stopped working. Could someone possiby re-build it for me on PC Specialist so I can checkout with it as I am struggling finding some of the components.

You wouldn't be able to purchase that because it's the older Haswell CPU series which PCS have stopped doing. There aren't many reasons not to go for the newer Skylake ones anyway, especially now Skylake's prices have come down.

The build above has a Z97 motherboard, which generally is high end with a few bells and whistles, such as maybe more support for overclocking, and dual channel memory. The build below uses an H110 which is a perfectly usable but budget board. I assume you're not overclocking as there was a non-k CPU in your previous build, and that you're not too bothered about dual or single channel memory. If you want a Z170 board (the Skylake equivalent of Z97) it's easy to draw a build up with that in, it just requires a different configurator to be used. :)

Note that the build above has a 550W PSU in it, which unless you're adding a graphics card of your own is far more than you need. I've added a 550W PSU into the below as that's what you had before, but thought I'd mention that.

Obviously you can change whatever you want with the link below the build.

Hi there,

Thanks so much for taking the time to do this, really appreciate it.

The reason this PC was built was because my old one has overheating issues which i have never been able to resolve. So i was building this with the idea of putting my graphics card, SSD and additional RAM into it.

Not sure if this changes much, thanks again .

That makes a lot of sense :)

If by additional RAM you mean RAM you already own, in addition to the frequency and timings compatibility issues you'd have with any RAM bear in mind that Skylake needs DDR3L (or DDR4, but the above motherboard is DDR3L) rather than DDR3, as it is lower voltage and I've heard it said that using normal DDR3 can damage the CPU.
