Need a little help with crysis

I have my PC plugged via HDMI to DVI to my TV monitor and its set at 1920x1080. What would be recommended to set screen size in the cysis settings. I have it set at 1280x720, any higher and it lags at start up.

TV 'size' is irrelevant in terms of performance. The 'bigger' screen (ie 42") isn't harder to produce the same image on, ie at 1920x1080 will take the same resources no matter how big your display is .

Basically I would recommend playing on as high a resolution as you can. If you are saying its lagging above 1280x720, then that might be it, you might be able to fiddle with the settings and lower a few to get it up to 1920x1080 though which might be better, but its personal preference imo. I would say a higher resolution would be more beneficial than slightly nicer looking rendering.
