Ok what monitor would you recommend (max 200E)
I don't know much about what's on sale in Ireland or prices, but the MSI one you linked would be pretty good. Looking at the Currys website, there's nothing significantly cheaper, and nothing cheaper at all that I'd recommend.

As an illustration, here's the absolute 100% bare minimum I could contemplate.

For clarity I do not recommend this PC. It already makes compromises I'm not happy with and will be more limited in the long term than spending a little more would be.

Case
PCS SPECTRUM G ARGB MID TOWER CASE (PWM)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 5600 Six Core CPU (3.5GHz-4.4GHz/35MB CACHE/AM4)
Motherboard
ASUS® PRIME B550-PLUS (DDR4, USB 3.2, 6Gb/s) - ARGB Ready!
Memory (RAM)
16GB PCS PRO DDR4 3200MHz (2 x 8GB) Cheaper RAM, probably still good
Graphics Card

8GB AMD RADEON™ RX 6600 - HDMI, DP - DX® 12
1st M.2 SSD Drive
1TB SOLIDIGM P41+ GEN 4 M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (up to 4125MB/sR, 2950MB/sW)
Power Supply
CORSAIR 550W TXm SERIES™ SEMI-MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD, ULTRA QUIET This will be very limiting if you ever want to upgrade. It's what I bought when I first bought my PC. It was a mistake.
Power Cable

1 x 1.5 Metre UK Power Cable (Kettle Lead)
Processor Cooling
STANDARD AMD CPU COOLER Probably just about OK for gaming, but will be noisy and maybe limiting in some aspects of PC use.
Thermal Paste

STANDARD THERMAL PASTE FOR SUFFICIENT COOLING
Sound Card
ONBOARD 6 CHANNEL (5.1) HIGH DEF AUDIO (AS STANDARD)
Network Card
10/100/1000 GIGABIT LAN PORT
Wireless Network Card
WIRELESS INTEL® Wi-Fi 6 AX200 2,400Mbps/5GHz, 300Mbps/2.4GHz PCI-E CARD + BT 5.0
USB/Thunderbolt Options
MIN. 2 x USB 3.0 & 2 x USB 2.0 PORTS @ BACK PANEL + MIN. 2 FRONT PORTS
Operating System
Windows 11 Home 64 Bit - inc. Single Licence [KK3-00027]
Operating System Language
United Kingdom - English Language
Windows Recovery Media
Windows 10/11 Multi-Language Recovery Image - Unlimited Downloads from Online Account

Think I might just go with your first design because I can't find any other good ones but just a quick other question what monitor would you recommend for your first design

So you mean a 144hz monitor
Yes. The MSI display you linked is fine. There's not that much difference between 144Hz and 170Hz, and a display will show as many frames as you give it, up to that limit.

The crucial things in PC peformance are the GPU and CPU: they're actually the same in the two builds I linked, so the performance will be similar, but the first one has much better foundations that will make it a better PC for longer.

Cheaper than?

Ultimately, it comes down to budget:

- If you are absolutely adamant in sticking to your original budget, then go with the "absolute minimum" 1087 Euro build that sck posted above.

- If you can stretch the budget that extra 100 Euros, then go with the first 1191 Euro spec sck posted. It is a far better spec and, in the long run, will be cheaper as you won't need to replace it as soon as the cheaper option.

Every person who gives advice on this forum would recommend the second option if possible
Sorry I mean by cheaper than buying it from here
