Hi All,
I need some advice/suggestions on buying a new laptop. I'm not a tech-savvy person but do know my way around laptops/pcs.
I know I would like to have a min of 512GB storage and potentially RTX 30 series graphic card.
The Laptop will be mostly used for work to process large quantity of data and running multiple softwares at times but also be good at gaming. Not looking at a high-end gaming laptop for sure.
Technically, my budget was around £1200 but the ones I chose are around £1500 and I will probably get them on a 12-month payment option.
So the one I'm looking at the 15.6" Elimina (https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/notebooks/elimina-ii-15/) with the following upgrades:
- 32gb memory ram Corsair 2133Mhz
- Nvidia Gforce RTX 3060
- 1 TB SSD storage (was thinking of going with 512 but you can get double the amount for just £40 so I upgraded to 1T)
- unsure if I need the Arctix MX-4 extreme thermal conductivity compound or the cooling stand
- definitely going to upgrade to 3 year warranty
If anyone has any other options or suggestions, I'm very open to them.
Thank you.
