Hi!
I have recently, as many others have, been working from home. I am currently self-employed and work as a video editor. The problem is, I have always worked using a Macbook quite out of date. It does the job, but it just isn't the same anymore given the work that I do, like handling 4k footage and rendering projects. This has led me to investing in a PC that is primarily used for work, but, I also want a PC that is strong on the gaming front too.
So now here I am, wondering what PC would be best for what I want and if anyone out there would be able to give me any advice/pointers. Below I will put a little brief summary of what I need the PC to do and my price range, any help or guidance is greatly appreciated!
I really appreciate anyone who can help out or even point me to a good PC out there that can do what I need, thankyou for reading!

- PC capable of rendering 4k footage quickly in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc. Currently, my Macbook Pro is incapable of manipulating graphics in real time, so there is always a slight delay to when I click and drag, I will have to wait until it catches up to me (I'm not sure what parts make this quicker, sorry I'm not as knowledgeable in this field as I should be).
- Price range around £500-£1000, although I am willing to stretch it a little bit further if there is PC that has a much better spec with only a small price rise.
- Large storage space for storing raw footage that also doesn't effect performance.
- PC that can also be used for gaming on the side, nothing major in terms of running everything ultra max settings, but still something that would be able to run games such as Apex Legends, GTA V, Cyberpunk, without many problems.
I really appreciate anyone who can help out or even point me to a good PC out there that can do what I need, thankyou for reading!
