So i spent nearly £1400 on a laptop as I travel a lot with work, the laptop is amazing when I'm sat at my desk with my charger plugged in, but as soon as i unplug the charger the laptop runs poorly, the games I play I get around 25fps, I have tried everything, but nothing works, can anyone help me out starting to lose my patience with this.

@RyaNM1076 can you post your full specs?

I'd imagine the laptops running in some kind of power saving mode when on battery and potentially not using the dedicated GPU. But full specs would be a great start if you can get them.

Easiest way to post them to forum is to go to your order page and there's a post to forum button.

There is a setting on Geforce Experience that usually controls the FPS cap when on battery, it's what they call Battery Boost. Have a look at your settings to see if you can spot it. You can turn it off completely or raise the FPS to something like 40 or 50

What games are you trying to play on battery?

Its quite normal for laptop gaming performance to tank when switching to battery because the GPU cannot draw anywhere near the same amount of power.
