Need some advice on a new PC!

Hi, former PCS customer here but not for a long time!

I’m looking to buy a new PC that will primarily be used for Adobe suite programs ie After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro etc. I have a budget of around £1400, but ideally less.

I don’t need peripherals but will need a Windows OS. Ideally, I’d like the PC to be pretty fit for the next year or more (I don’t use these programs professionally, I’m more of a budding hobbyist but my current PC is pretty old & struggles), but have options for upgrades down the line. I don’t really need gaming capability as a priority.

The only part of the build that I’d like included is the Fractal North White TG case, only because I’ve never owned a PC that actually looked good! Can anyone suggest a build that would fit with this? Thanks in advance 👍

There aren't any good GPU options inside this budget range but I would want at least some sort of GPU acceleration for After Effects & Premiere Pro, it can make a huge difference.

Below is over budget but ticks all your requirements. Availability for upgrades and I've selected a cooler that you won't need to replace regardless of which CPU option you wanted down the line.

PSU has you covered to mid-tier cards down the line, but if you wanted to go higher end then the 1000w PSU is a good choice.

Switching to the 3050 GPU would keep you around the budge you were aiming for but it has to be said that this is a very under-powered card and still very expensive for what you get.

Another option would be the 8700G, which has reasonable on-board graphics..... but nothing like what you get with a proper GPU.

Is there any reason that you don't want to transfer the windows license from your current PC? It can make all the difference to your budget and get you everything.
