Hello there I am a first time poster and long time n00b, I wanted to know peoples opinion on my configuration and I have several questions. My absolute max. budget is 1K. Anyway here are my specs:

I'll start with my questions chronologically:
1. My processor, I have chosen it because the idea of 8 cores appeals to me, but I have heard this can consume a lot of power and can heat up very quickly. I got the FX 8350 because its 4.0 Ghz but I heard the FX 8150 can go up to 4.0 Ghz when it needs to. My question is can the FX 8350 go beyond 4.0Ghz and is it wise to have a processor always at 4.0Ghz? P.s I don't plan on overclocking.
2 I have chosen a liquid cooler for my processor considering the points above. Is it wise or necessary to have a liquid cooler because I'm worried about leaks and replacing the coolant.
3. A lot of the configurations I've seen don't use the default hard drive given to them e.g they use Western digital. Is this recommended I would like a large hard drive that's why I've chosen the 2TB option but what are peoples thoughts?
Finally for my sound card I've chosen the Creative Sound Blaster Audigy. looking around on the Internet I've seen many people saying bad things about this card e.g drivers etc. Should I spend the extra £20 and get this card and does this card have a tendency to fail or break.
