Need To Access Hard Drive From Dead PC

I'm returning my pc for repair to PC Specialist as my computer won't start up. There's a couple of files I wouldn't mind getting off my hard drive, but not sure which would be the best device to use?? I have an external kit already, but it doesn't work with my hard disk as it's a newer model. I've tried googling etc, but not sure. Baring in mind too, I can access the hard disk, but can't really take it out as I don't want to take the front of the case apart etc. My hard drive is a 1TB WD CAVIAR BLACK WD1003FZEX, SATA 6 Gb/s, 64MB CACHE (7200rpm) any advice? Don't really want to pay too much neither. Cheers.

That's the type of device I was going to advise you to get but I didn't get chance to reply to your first post earlier.

I've got one like it and it works great for hooking up a hard drive to another computer - I've got both an IDE and a SATA one, very useful for retrieving stuff from dead computers or just transferring from an old hard drive to a new one when upgrading laptops etc.

Yeah looks okay to me :) I do have another one, but that only works because the older hard drive has a power molex connector at the back, unlike the newer one I've bought the latest one for.
