What you guys think? Any improvements I could make? My budget is about £1000 though the current price is fine (Though not ideal)

EDIT: For the monitor, I'm using a Acer XF240H (https://www.amazon.co.uk/Acer-XF240Hbmjdpr-Monitor-FreeSync-Adjustable/dp/B01684HUJU). For games, It's kinda hard to say as I play a bunch of different games. I'm not really ever playing anything intensive (From what I know). Currently I'm playing stuff like COD Warzone and League of Legends. I will be using it for Games Development as well and a boost in performance for engines like Unreal (Which runs like crap on my current computer) would be good.

EDIT: Nursemorph beat me to it!

Looks good.

I'd try to squeeze an X570 motherboard in, since that will support the next generation of AMD CPUs so you can upgrade at some point in the future. I've managed to squeeze one in for only an extra £10 by swapping the Samsung M.2 drive for the PCS generic one (slower but still much better than SATA drives) and going with the stock AMD cooler and paste (they're meant to be pretty good, so you probably don't need the upgrade). For some reason the 3200MHz RAM was £1 cheaper than the 3000MHz, so I've used that too. Finally, I've upgraded to the silver warranty because it's great value for £5.

You're spending a fair proportion of the total system cost on the case. I've left it as-is because if you like it and the budget will take it then you might as well, but you could also drop back to the Fractal Focus G and spend the money you save on a Firecuda M.2 drive.

Couple of things to help us advise you:

- What monitor will this be paired with? Resolution and refresh rate or make and model if unsure. I am guessing 1080p as that is what your build is leaning towards but just wanted to check
- What type of games will you be playing?
- WIll it be used for anything else? Just so we know if anything needs taking into account.

There are definitely improvements/changes we could make...for example, with such a small budget, as good as the Meshify is, I wouldn't be spending that much on a case when, if needed, that budget can go elsewhere. For your budget, I'd be looking at the Fractal Focus G (£51)...it is an excellent case despite it's small price (I have one housing my system and I love it). Money can also be saved by removing the cooler...the stock cooler on that chip is very good at keeping temps down (I also have that chip with the stock cooler and have no temp issues)

Thanks for the advice :). I've edited the original post and added info about what you requested. Let me know if you need more.

I've been told by a friend to get a stock cooler as well though I guess you can say I have sorta PTSD (haha) from my original stock cooler for my AMD A8-6600K which sounded like a jet engine.

Thanks for the reply :) Just wondering, what about the power supply? Do you think I could lower it to the 550W TXm? Wasn't sure how much I'd need and it's apparently in stock tomorrow

The stock cooler on the 3600 isn't exactly the quietest fan in the world but it's not so loud as to stop your concentration....you can always use software/BIOS to adjust the fan speeds to get the quietness you want....my temps were fine when I was gaming for hours at a time with the fan profile on silent (so running at bare minimum).

I have just been doing some research on the Unreal Engine and I really want to upgrade things on the spec but I can't due to the budget (upping the CPU to the 3700 to give more cores to work with, upping the GPU to give more graphical power)...the only thing I can see we can do to help with UE is to up the RAM to 32GB but that would necessitate changing the case to the Focus G. If you did that and went with the 550w PSU, then the price would be £1079 based on Grinty's spec and these changes.

It's up to you....whether the extra RAM would be worth it or not (from what I have read 32GB is recommended for Unreal...but you probably know much more about UE and it's requirements than I do)

Unreal runs like crap on my current but no so bad that it's unusable so considering this computer is about 100x better then my current, I'd imagine it'd be fine.

This is my current build except for the 550W power supply that I can't select yet which brings the cost to £1061:

You got any recommendations for possibly other cases that'd work well?
