New 15.6 Proteus Laptop config help please

Hello,

I just saw the new Proteus laptop option and seems like a good bargain for those specs. What do you think of this spec and price? I will leave the specs I have chosen below. There are two things though that are not clear enough for me. First thing, the GPU is RTX 3080, what TGP in W it has? I am interested in the W number exactly because this influences the performance of the Gpu a lot. Some GPUS have reduced wattage are not the full fat GPU. The second thing is that I have selected 32 GB of RAM with 3200Mhz, but the detailed specification says it supports only 2666Mhz? I am confused, can you enlighten me, please? Cheers

What's your budget ? your futur uses ? does it have to be a intel laptop ? (the destian do a wonderfull job with amd, enven with the 3070)
can you give us the configuration link ?

Don't take bullguard, it's known to cause issues with windows, and windows defender do the job well

The budget would be around 2k pounds. I prefer Intel because I heard it's better at single-core tests. I will check destian also then.

My future uses will be for gaming hopefully for a few years on ultra settings. Thank you ^^.

In that case if you are also looking at portability you should be looking at the Recoil for 15.6" or the Valeon for 17". If you aren't bothered by portability then you want to be looking at a 17" Recoil.

The two specs I would recommend are:

(ordinarily with the recoil 15 id recommend the 3080 but its not available at the moment how ever the 3070 will definitely suffice)

I appreciate your preference is Intel but if you want gaming performance and longevity in a laptop you want the 5900HX.

*Edit* - To answer one of your earlier questions the Valeon has the full 150W +15W DB TGP I am 99% sure the recoil has the full TGP for the 3070.

You can also go for the 15" destian, it's a DTR, as the recoil 17", but with amd desktop cpu (and it's one of my favorite, my sister has one with a 5600x and a 3070) - it also has the advantage to offer a pcie 4 port (so you can chose a 980pro samsung ssd)
