Just ordered a new top-of-the-range PC and now deciding on a 4K monitor upgrade to go with it. Any suggestions or thoughts on the (not so) short list? Most are currently on black friday sale and within my £400-£600 budget. Main uses will be 4K gaming, general day-to-day use, movies/videos, and word processing. Looking for a Vesa mountable 27-28" in size and include 4K resolution, IPS, high refresh rate, low latency, G-sync compatible, and Black colour. The main differences I see are in contrast and black levels. Currently upgrading from a 1440p Asus TUF VG27A 1440p 144hz monitor (which will become the secondary)

1) 28" ASUS TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A 4K Gaming Monitor, IPS, 3840x2160, 1ms, 144Hz, FreeSync/G-Sync Compatible, DP/HDMI2.1/USB (Would match current monitor bad has few negative reviews stating blood black levels.)

2) 27" Gigabyte M27U Gaming Monitor, IPS, 3840x2160, HDR600, 1ms, 160Hz, FreeSync Premium Pro, 1000:1, 400cd/m² (seems a strong recommendation alonside the 28" slightly more)

3) 28" Gigabyte M28U ARM UHD 4K Monitor, IPS, HDR400, 3840x2160, 144Hz, FreeSync, 1ms, 1000:1, 300cd/m², HDMI 2.1 /DP/USB-C (Unsure on G-sync compatability as seeing mixed reviews of this as well as the purple/grey colour is abit offputting)

4) 27" LG 27GR93U-B Monitor, IPS, 3840x2160, 144Hz, 1ms, FreeSync, HDR, 1000:1, HDMI/DP, G-SYNC Compatible (More strong reviews but the purple/grey colour is a bit offputting)

5) Samsung Odyssey G7 LS28BG700EPXXU 28" 4K UHD Smart Gaming Monitor with Speakers - HDMI 2.1, 144 Hz, 1ms, Full Smart Platform, 3840x2160, HDR400, USB Hub, Displayport, Freesync Premium Pro (Some strong reviews, mentions of strong Black levels but seems to only be more like a thick TV and is Curved)

6) HP OMEN 27k Gaming Monitor, 27'' UHD IPS 144hz, Gaming Console Compatible, 1x HDMI 2.0, 1x HDMI 2.1, 1x DP, AMD FreeSync Premium, Dual speakers, Tilt Pivot & height adjustments, VESA Mountable, Black (The most expensive of the list and only available through amazon)

7) 27" ASUS ROG Swift PG27UQR, IPS, 3840x2160, 160Hz, 1ms, FreeSync, HDR, 600cd/m², 100M:1, DP/HDMI (scratch that now this is the most expensive)

Each option seems packed with features for your gaming and everyday needs. Considering your preferences, the Gigabyte M27U Gaming Monitor or the ASUS TUF Gaming VG28UQL1A could be solid picks, despite some reviews mentioning black level issues. Have you considered any options for a portable monitor for laptop? It could be a handy addition to your setup, especially for on-the-go productivity.
