New AMD Driver Broken

Hi all,

Followed instructions here for new driver installation:

I was recommended to update and reinstalle drivers to try and fix screen tearing in Stalker Call of Pripyat.

After following intructions and going to game the intro videos and entire game is flickering constantly with black bars across the screen. What the hell have I done?

Hello ragamuffin,

I would try playing the game with VSync on within the games graphics/video options to see if this makes any difference

Vsync didn't work. But now that's not the issue. The issue is any game I enter the screen flickers 3 or 4 times a second with thick black bars going horizontally across the entire screen. Obviously something is totally wrong with the driver or installation and i need help.

Is that the only game affected? effected? Whichever
