Now these look really interesting and set to change the budget space especially for gaming.

And some further investigation by gamers nexus on the 3300x which they’re now putting as a gaming crown at the budget end, outperforming the 7700k in some titles:

The only thing a little confusing for me is the 3100. It seems a little pointless to be honest.

Yeah, it's not something I was too keen on. I guess for an ultra budget office computer perhaps? The 3300x is barely any more money for a significant boost.
