New build performance issues

I've also noticed that Adobe Photoshop randomly stops graphic acceleration as if it does not recognise the graphic card installed. That I guess is a driver fault. Althought since I updated my Studio drivers from Gforce Experience few days ago I didn't notice that error to occur so far - only restarts.

We've had other users have issues with the studio drivers. Perhaps you might try the game ready drivers?

I installed Studio Drivers mainly because I had that (photoshop graphic acceleration error) showing while having the Game Ready Drivers installed. It has been crushing my photoshop in the middle of editing - Studio Drivers fixed that.

OK. You might try a back level version? It could be the card of course....

I just did a clean DDU uninstall and downloaded latest Game Ready Drivers. I will post later on how it behaves. Thank you for your help, let's hope it will work.

Hi There, I hope someone could give me a little hint or advice.

Since I got my new PC I keep encountering a lot of system issues that I have never had with my old computer or laptop. I am a photographer and designer and its important for me to work stress free without battling issues with my gear. All my editing software keep crashing, my camera has issues being recognised by Canon EOS, Lightroom cannot read directly from my camera, photoshop keeps crashing. The amount of bugs I encountered is just ridiculous. I have updated my graphic card drivers, my bios, my software, stress tested both drivers and graphic card. I don't think it is related to hardware issues though as my games plays smoothly including latest titles like Cyberpunk 2077. It seems like its windows stability and performance is at fault.
Same version of Windows 10 on my laptop and everything works butter smooth, my whole Adobe software is stable, my camera connected to the laptop is automatically recognized and working perfectly. I can easily use threading option to capture images straight from the camera, whilst my new Pc which is three times stronger keeps crashing.
I tried reinstall the Windows couple a moths ago but it did not help. It is hard to exactly point an area of interest as the errors keep occurring all over the place.

Some specific problems includes communication with external devices, Photoshop/Lightroom crashes, Canon AOS Utility crashing on start or freezes when I connect my DSLR Camera/ etc - all programs were reinstalled few times, I did clean graphic driver uninstall and performed all windows updates available.

I am just very confused as the joy of having a good Pc is just spoiled with those issues and I don't have an idea what can be at fault. So maybe a word of advice or a pointing in right direction would be much appreciated.

I've merged your posts, from the looks of it we never even got around to troubleshooting the last time, you just stopped posting?

Each time we get to the meat of the troubleshooting you seem to stop updating the threads.

I'm sorry but suggested solutions had to be carefully checked, I was trying to check the difference in performance after the update, but it could not be so obvious. Yes, the PC started to behave much better, but still now and then it introduced new problems like this one with my camera. Although searching all over the place I found this thread that seem to match my problems. Because I am not a tech expert I couldn't establish the source of my problems, and now the camera connection crashing my software is just adding to it.
That is the thread I found on another forum, but unfortunately it was left there without solution, so maybe someone could add their thoughts to it:

You haven't posted the full specs, did you order with or without windows?
Ach, yes, sorry, it was already installed with some loose installation files that were not automatically removed , someone on this forum suggested to reinstall windows because it usually indicates that something went wrong during installation. So I did a full reinstall of Windows 10.

Ok, so it was never actually answered, but what process did you take to reinstall windows?

A lot of people don't realise how to do a clean install, so just taking this back to square one again.

What BIOS version are you on?

That's not what @SpyderTracks was asking, he was asking if you purchased Windows with the PC from PC Specialist or did you get it elsewhere, it's for reasons like this we need to see the FULL SPEC from your orders page

My version is 2.20.1271

And I was following the windowscentral.com instruction for clean windows install, cannot recall exactly step by step.

When did you last update the BIOS? Roughly what date?

When you say you followed the windows central guide, was it specifically for a clean install? Did you boot the installer?

From what I can tell, that BIOS is extremely old, from last year in which case it will still have the USB disconnection bug problems.

I did the update I believe like 6-7 months ago, but I may be wrong. And yes I boot the windows from the stick

Ok, so very first thing I think we need to do is get you on the latest BIOS, but you need to get PCS authorisation to upgrade it otherwise you void your warranty.

Do that first, as new BIOS resolved a major issue with USB disconnects on AMD chipsets. I'm hoping that's what's causing the issue with the camera and possibly even some stability issues.

Once we've done that, we'll reevaluate stability, if necessary, we'll go through a clean install from scratch.

Do post back this time though, don't leave it for months, once you've got the BIOS updated to the latest version (also configures the motherboard to support windows 11), then post back and we'll continue.

Forgive my ignorance but how do I get PCS consent, do I have to contact the customer service or should I fill some form ? I'm new to this...
