New build

I'm looking at buying a new gaming pc. Budget around £700 with a monitor if possible but it's not a necessity.
Will be looking at playing games like wow, Cs go mainly.
Not sure on which gfx and whether or not to go Intel or amd so if people could give me some advise on some builds that'll be greatly appreciated :)

With a monitor inside £700 is a no go for me as I wouldn't recommend anything that I thought wasn't up to scratch.

The following is what I would recommend for the base system. It's a little over budget but you could pull it down by opting for 1x8GB of RAM instead of 2. That's up to yourself though.

Case
FRACTAL FOCUS G BLACK GAMING CASE (Window)
Processor (CPU)
AMD Ryzen 5 2600X Six Core CPU (3.6GHz-4.25GHz/19MB CACHE/AM4)

Pretty much the same build, only real difference is 8GB RAM over 16GB :D

I would stick with the 16 where possible, 8 really is the bare bones now.

Agree with Scotster about RAM, 16 GB is ideal but it is worth bearing in mind that PCS allow us to work on our machines without voiding the warranty. So you could go with 8GB now and add more when your budget allows.

Best to pair RAM straight from factory thou.

Value for the performance. You won't see a 6 core 4.25Ghz processor from Intel for anywhere near that kind of money.
