this is about my full budget but wouls appreciate any comments or changes, I hope this will last me a long time and us a 4K monitor as well as VR ocullus

Hi there! There’s some things that could be adjusted about this build. A few questions first. What is you actual budget? Having a number to work towards makes it a lot easier. For your 4K monitor, is it one you already own? If so what’s the refresh rate/ hz? If not, what monitors were you looking at? I see you’ve gone for the Be Quiet case, is quietness something you’re looking for particularly?

Hi have a AOC 32" 144 refresh and also use my 60hz 42" 4K tv on the pc,the 2nd screen use depends on what I am playing watching. not bothered about lighting as such quiter is better budget is £2500 max I also have spare 3TB drives and crucial 520 ssd as well to fit 3 of each from my current build

should have said I have 3 3TB hard drives to fit in and 3 520 ssd crucial to add to the set up from my current rig is the samsung M.2 better than the firecuda?

As far as I'm aware, AOC don't have a 144hz 4K monitor. Do you have a model number for the monitor you currently have or are you looking to get a new 4K one? Baring in mind a 4K 144hz monitor is about £800 if you're actually able to find one.

sorry dont do forums normaly so keep missing info out only the 42" is 4K at 60hz I did edit my original post to reflet that I thought but probabley for got to save it :confused:

You’ll want the AX200 as the WiFi card. That includes the 5GHz band and Bluetooth.

Thanks for all the info so far. For 4K 60hz gaming, the 3070 will be perfectly fine (and it'll be massive overkill for 1080p 144hz). One last question then I should have a build ready. What are the sizes of all the SSD's and Hard drives you have? Once you've ordered, I'd contact them asking to install the cables you'll need for your drives so you're able to plug them in straight away.

Before knowing the SSD sizes, this is the build I'd be recommending.

The 5000X is a fantastic case, it comes with great airflow and the 3 included RGB ML fans are super quiet, it's a belter of a case. If you're looking for super silence, I'd move back to the be quiet case you had before. For the 5800X, the STRIX motherboard isn't needed and the TUF will do just perfectly. If you're only gaming, 16GB will be perfectly adequate. The only reason I'd recommend 32 is if you were to be streaming, doing video editing, motion graphics or the one acception of microsoft flight simulator for gaming. For the GPU, as mentioned above 4K 60hz, only needs a 3070 and the 1080p 144hz will be totally maxed out by a 70. The 3070 also has the advantage of being a lot cheaper and the wait is shorter by months. I have no doubt that the 3070 will comfortably run VR. For storage, I've simply added a 500GB Gen 4 M.2 SSD. The Samsung drive is a fantastic one with faster speeds than the Seagate. Normally I'd add a 2nd SSD for games and a HDD for files but you seem to have that covered. Also the X570 board only comes with 2 M.2 slots, so you might have to pick and choose what goes on the 2nd M.2 (I'd keep the 1st SSD to Windows and apps only). Another option is the B550 TUF which comes with 3, but wouldn't be the best board pairing for the 5800X. I've swapped the TXm PSU for an RMx unit, it's a fully modular instead of semi modular meaning cable managment is easier and if you'd like to add some braided cables down the road, you have the option to. The H115i Capellix cooler is a top of the line cooler and will do a fantastic job on the 5800X. It also comes with the ML fans that are on the case so will be nice and quiet for you. If you need WiFi the AX200 is a no brainer. I've removed the anti-virus as it's known to cause issues and the Silver warranty is well worth the £5, although for a PC of this budget, I'd consider stepping it up again.

1St is their any benfit in upgradeing to the m2 samsung pro and i have 4 Toshiba HDWD130 and 1 140 also 2 crucial CT525 and 1 Toshiba TR200

the wait time dosnt bother me much as this is likely the last gaming pc for me so I need to future proof it as much as possible at nearly 60 and 40+ time of gaming I know i will have to stop playing world war Z| some time lol

So PCS doesn’t allow you to purchase a system without a storage drive of some sort. The Samsung 980 is one of the, if not the fastest consumer drive available today. If you’re going to need a single drive in your machine, you might as well make it one of these. Plus it saves the need to have to re-install your Windows onto another dive.

I’ll be honest. This drive situation is very confusing (to me at least). The only case that I can see that might fit all the drives is the ThermalTake X71 which is unbelievably expensive. Part of me is tempted to suggest purchasing a large 2nd SSD and a few large HDD’s and spend a while transferring your data from the drives you currently have to the drives you will purchase with this machine. It seems like an incredible amount of data in a lot of places (assuming they’re all almost full) and having it all on 3 drives must be a whole lot easier to handle. I’m a bit lost on where to go at the moment if I’m honest.

It's the same build as before, it just has 2 4TB HDD for 8TB of HDD storage then a 2TB M.2 SSD for everything else you want to store on SSD. If you wanted to upgrade to the drives to 6TB for 12TB total it'd add another £90. Although with it's current spec it's at a very satisfying £2,500 exactly 😂

Another option is something along the lines of this. It'll effectively make them all External drives you could plug in via USB. You could either buy one and just swap the drives out as you need them or buy one for each drive that won't fit in the PC (the 5000X has space for 4 2.5 inch SSD's and 2 3,5 inch HDD's).

Also, do you have all these drives in one case at the moment? If so, what behemouth of a PC case do you have?

Edit: Something that totally skipped my mind is sending in your own case. Assuming I'm allowed to link to it, here is a list of all the cases with 6+ 3.5 inch bays (how many I believe you need). You could purchase one and make the delivery address the PCS warehouse address so they could build in the PC then once you recieve it, you could put all your drives into it?
