New computer advice please

What's your max budget and what editing software do you use?
Is it just for editing or anything else?

Looking around the £1000-£1500 range.
I edit photos but also use 365 programmes regularly.
I particularly just wanted some advice on motherboards (do I need an i7?), whether I need to go for 32GB RAM and if my second storage option can be mechanical? When I put in the options the feedback from the site was that they would load the operating system on the SSD as that would give a more responsive computer? Should I go for two SSDs?
As you can tell - I'm not really that techie
When I can work out how to copy and paste the configuration that I've been playing with then I'll post it. It's not that I don't know how to copy and paste but when I try to copy the option that I've chosen it gives me the whole option list!
