New Desktop Advice

Hi,

I need to replace my desktop and I'm not sure what specifications I should get. The computer is mainly used for work to do the following tasks.

I do a lot of work on websites and have lots of tabs open at the same time
I do design work mainly using Photoshop but also Illustrator and occasionally Premier Pro and After Effects
I often have quite a few applications running at the same time such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Chrome, Photoshop and our own inhouse software
The computer isn't used for gaming or streaming movies / television but I do use it to stream music and for YouTube

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

There isn't necessarily a max budget, would be great if I could get something for around £1500 but could go to £2000 but It's more about how much I'd gain from spending the extra cash. If I'd see a clear improvement for spending the extra then that's fine, if the improvement is negligible then it's probably not worth it for us.

Think an Intel 13th gen platform is going to be suitable given the suites you're using. I'd suggest it needs to be closer to £2000 as including an RTX GPU for hardware acceleration can greatly improve processing times. Give me a second and I'll draw something up

Apologies, got sidetracked.

This is a solid build, will do a strong job at the budget. With the drive setup, the primary 1TB SSD is for OS and programs, the secondary 1TB SSD is for live project work, the 2TB HDD is for storage, and the small 250Gb SATA SSD is a cache drive. The cache drive is really important, it offloads processes to the drive if the RAM availability is exceeded on large jobs (which will happen, it's unavoidable), the cache greatly speeds up renders and effects processing.
