I believe I made the right choice to go from the spec in the first post, to what I have now. I will be using the machine mainly for gaming and editing GoPro footage as my current setups are just impossible to work with. I ride motorbikes and like to upload the footage of weird things I see in London to YouTube, but as it's such an unpleasant experience on my iMac and Laptop I decided to go for a new desktop.

I think I should be relatively covered with the new spec, but if there are any considerations I may have missed while choosing parts I'd be happy to read them.
