Budget £1600-1770. I like it to be small form factor case (no led lights) as we don't have a lot of room.

No 4k as I don't think budget will cover it, Just HD or 1440p at 144hz . With the screen just a normal wide screen.

I am upgrading from a GTX 690, Is this budgets ok or do I need to save more?

Main games I will be playing with,
Black mesa
Elder Scrolls Online
Elder scroll oblivion (modded)
Elder scroll skyrim (modded)
No mans sky
Resident evil games
Final fantasy x
Final fantasy XIV Online
Metro Exodus

And I will be emulating my console games too.

Optional Scorn, don't know if my budget will cover it please advice. Maybie virtual headset but im not sure if i will get that as i do struggle with motion sickness a lot and don't need Cd drive or SD card reader options. Need good size memory (at least 2TB)

I would like to order today as soon as someone can confirm a good build please.

Is there any one willing to help, would it be better to save more, say £3000 if so that will take another 3 months. Been crazy few years and it's well over due to get a new pc (mine 9 years old). Thank you

What's your opinion, buy a pc an screen at £1600-1770 or save up in 3 months at £3000. I'm a bit worried as prices may go up more and then I can't afford it any more. I do like this build from @sck451 : https://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/saved-configurations/amd-am5-pc/mA7Z5hXyUf/
I would definitely save up, PC's cost a lot at the moment, and the your budget differerences are the difference between a high end 1080p and 4k system, they're polar opposites of the power spectrum.

Even if prices rise in the future, £3000 then is going to get you a hell of a lot more than £1700 now.

Honestly mate in 3 months I'd expect prices to settle a little, some of the less extreme motherboards becoming available and RAM prices to calm down you could likely save money

I would agree, I think there's no issue with demand outstripping supply like we've seen over the last few years as most people upgraded in the last gen.

B650 board will be released by then which will offer far more value over current X670, plus I think ATX3 motherboards may be more readily available by then.
