New gaming laptop - what do you think of this?

I am looking in to buying a new gaming laptop with either an Intel 10th gen or a Ryzen CPU. I'm thinking of getting the Nova 15. What do you think of this spec? I will be mainly using it for gaming, streaming, audio production and game development work through Unity. Alongside Unity I will be using tools like FBXVviewer and Blender.

It’s an excellent build for your uses. Be advised though the Nova is a DTR (desktop replacement) and uses desktop CPU’s so battery life and portability take a hit.

Yeah I was speaking to someone on the live chat the other day and they were also suggesting I should get either a Viper or a Recoil 4 but both of them have webcams on the bottom of the laptop which might be a bit awkward position when filming YouTube videos or streaming.

The Nova is brilliant for productivity, but just so long as you're ok with those 2 drawbacks, that's all. I've got a DTR and carry it around with me for business trips and it's been around the world on planes trains and automobiles and never had a problem.

Yeah this laptop weighs slightly less than the Intel laptop I seen, the other one weighing over 3kg.

Yeah, the Octane is the Intel equivalent of the Nova.... but it has issues, thermally mainly, just impossible to keep the CPU's under decent temps and thermal throttles most of the time without a heavy undervolt. The Nova doesn't suffer from that.

That's good to to know.
