New laptop advice

hey,

im looking to buy a new laptop which would mainly be used for my uni work (coding/video editing) and general internet browsing.

my budget is around 300/400 maybe 500 pounds at a push.

i know i could probably pick up pretty much any laptop and it would do these tasks with ease however i thought id best pop a post on here and see what you guys could provide me with to make the most out of my money
