Great specs for the price, that's why I bought from PCS, especially the 1080 screen as standard! However, a couple of niggles: Firstly the sound is poor, I was only expecting basic sound but it is still very quiet, my old Acer had much better sound from 2 basic speakers! Hard to hear properly when just listening via speakers on max volume. I have a USB DAC connected to my stereo & surround sound for my music, etc, so that's not a problem most of the time, just when I'm not plugged in or away from home! Secondly, the 'power on' button takes a good firm press, a few times at first I thought it was broken & still have to press it 2 or 3 times sometimes to switch on, hope this won't get any worse! Other very minor thing is no lights for caps lock or webcam on/off button, just a niggling thing, but would be useful! Touch pad could be better too with more functions! Otherwise all seems good.. just the test of time to pass.. my old Acer lasted me 5 years of extensive daily use & abuse & is still functioning as my music server now.. Shame can't fit the second hard drive & an optical drive too, wanted to go for 2 drives before I realised this. No whistles and bells then, hence the low price for the spec, but generally happy, so long as it lasts me another 5 years or so of use.. (arrived with no power lead, but these things happen & one was quickly sent).
