New Laptop Optimus IV 15.6 Ordered!

Hi guys,

First post to say I've just placed an order for a Optimus IV 15.6. Let the wait begin! :D

the specs are:

I'll be popping in another HDD for storage and will be installing Linux Mint 14 (maybe win 8 too - although maybe not!)

should be good, can't wait!

From experience my order was built,tested and QC's in 3 days, and it was shipped on the 4th day, so I'd say you will have the computer in your hands 5 workings days from when it was built usually.

I'm on the 2nd working day - I guess the late Thursday order didn't count ;) and it's still 'processing'. Hopefully by the beginning of next week - I'm off abroad on business on the 16th - would be fab to take it with me!

Gave PCS a ring today to check on progress.

The nice chap said it's still processing but should be with me before the end of next week!

It's here!

I've installed Linux Mint 14 64bit and it flies. Boots from cold to login screen in 10 secs!

currently sat with it in chicago airport and it's outstanding.

Will do a pic and review thread over the next few days.
