New Notebook for Full HD Video Editing

Hello everyone

I'm selling my old All in One Computer and I'm looking now a for a notebook to edit Full-HD videos and maybe occasionally 4k videos.
My Budget is around 1700.-

I've configured the following notebook for my self:

Vyper III 15.6" Full HD
Intel I 7 10875H
32 GB Corsair 2666MHz DDR4
Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 - 6GB
1 TB Samsung Evolve Plus SSD Drive

What do you think will the RTX 2060 GPU enough or should go with the RTX 2070?

And another point is the battery life. The Vyper is said to have a battery life of 5 hours. Does aynybody have some experience with it? Because battery life is important for me to do some editing on go.
Would you recommend to choose the Recoil IV Series over the Vyper because of its battery life of 8 hours?

Many thanks in advance
MRFenerio

Hi @mrfenerio what is your budget? Can you post your full specs from the order page (it'll auto-format it for the forums) including the link, helps other folk when giving advice.

The battery life statistics are probably not under heavy loads (although I'd ask PCS directly to get this info) so it may be less when editing/etc.

Would you have any suggestions for improvement?
And would it be worth the extra money to go with a NVIDIA RTX 2070 instead of 2060?

Regarding the battery life, if the Battery statistics could be less when editing it would maybe make sense to go with the recoil IV model.
I have to think about that :)

Best regards

2070 would be worth it in the long run.

On that chassis you can use an eGPU with a desktop GPU, gives you about 80% performance, so once the included gpu is slow, you can use the eGPU.

example of eGPU:

How long down the line would it take for a 2070 to be obsolete?
