New part build

I'm planning to upgrade most of my system the only components I am keeping are my RTX 2080 TI - 32GB corsair ram and a samsung 2 tb 960 pro plus a 1tb hdd.

I decided to build a new pc minus the components above and just transfer the parts listed to the new machine.

Is there anything I should do regarding the os which is windows 10 or can I just put my ssd in the new machine and boot it up with no problem and is there anything else I should know about or do.

Thanks for any help you can give.

The specs posted above are what I'm upgrading to not what I have at the moment.

At the moment I have a gigabyte x99 Mb a i7 5960x and the case I have at the moment is not compatible with the liquid cooling listed above.
Also I would rather not have to go through the hassle of rebuilding my entire pc which is something I'm not confident of doing.

Just as an additional I plan to put the cheap ram and ssd listed above in to my old pc along with my old titan x card and then sell that pc to recoup a bit of cash.

Oh, so you're buying a complete system and adding some bits, not really an upgrade :)

What's it to be used for?

What monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate?

What's your max budget?
