Casino! Fine choice! As a bit of a Beatlemaniac I’ll be going all out on my next purchase and investing in a Rickenbacker 325. They’re not cheap so I’ll likely be saving for a good few years for that one.
My major issue (other than lack of technical prowess) is that I have worryingly small hands. As such, standard Fenders with their larger scale length present a genuine issue for a rhythm guitarist like me. I have a beautiful telecaster but it’s just not right. Some beautiful guitars there. I have only one at the moment, a Fender Telecaster, although if I ever improve my playing would like a Strat as well.
Quite fancy a Rickenbacker bass as well.
That is a wonderful collection you have there!Sorry about the delayed reply, the weekend seemed to be spent running around doing stuff for other people. A friend has tested positive for COVID (no serious symptoms thankfully) so he and his wife are isolating. Went over to take some groceries and to walk the dogs. Then doing some things for my father in law who's vulnerable and shielding. No time to do much else by the time we finished.
Nice guitars AgentCooper, it's always interesting to see other people's collections and preferences., I love that Yamaha AEX, that's a new one to me. And I sympathise about the hand size issue - I have the same problem.
Some of the pictures are internet sourced ones as I tried taking some pictures of my own ones and couldn't seem to get anything decent, but it gives an idea hopefully. I've got a few other bits and pieces that I've collected over the years but these are the main ones. I do have a cheap and cheerful bass that I use for recording at home but ought to get something a bit more refined at some point.
My prized guitar is the Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Black Beauty that I was lucky enough to get as a 60th birthday present from my amazing wife. It's just a beautiful guitar in every way - it is heavy though and needs a substantial strap if you're going to play it standing up for any length of time.

The one that I probably am attached to the most is my first "proper" guitar that I bought in a guitar shop in Luton back in the late 70's and is my candy apple red Strat. A beautiful looking and lovely guitar to play - mine is a bit more battered than the picture below as it's had 40 odd years of loving abuse

My only real nod to "modern" guitars so far is the PRS Singlecut which I bought on a whim after playing it in a music shop. Mine isn't quite the same colour as this one (or the exact same model) but very similar and fun to play.

The Fender Telecaster is one of my go to guitars as it's so flexible and just feels so comfortable in my hands. Its a Mexican built Baja tele but the quality is every bit as good any of the US built one's I've played recently.

The oldest member of the family is an Italian built Eko Ranger VI jumbo acoustic guitar. I got it on my 21st birthday and it's still with me 45 years later, showing it's age a little - but then again aren't we all

An old favourite though is my Shaftesbury Les Paul that I bought from a friend in the mid-70s. He played in bands around the London area (the pub-rock scene was very big back then) and when he earnt enough to buy a really good guitar he let me buy this for next to nothing. It had been modified and had Gibson pickups fitted and Schaller machine heads and is extraordinarily heavy but I won't ever part with it even though I have a real LP now.
