New pc and getting these motherboard code:

sometimes on start up i get a long beep followed my 3 short quick beeps.
but everytime the pc will start up and work fine.

@greenman181 is your monitor turned off when you turn your PC on? If so turn the monitor on first.
Its a thing with some of the ASUS motherboards that it does an error beep if the monitor is not turned on.

did that and no differance was about to say mainly only does it when monitor is off but down below guy gave me my answer :)

It's a bug on the motherboard that returns a GPU error if it can't detect a monitor plugged in.

It's nothing to worry about, completely normal. Just turn on the monitor before turning on the PC, or swap the cable to DP
