I used the "WhoCrashed" program to read my Dump files and found it to be a couple of driver conflicts. I have performed a system restore and all seems ok so far.

Thanks for the update, had been looking up the problem and was just about to post saying it is likely to be a driver problem (graphics most likely).

The BSOD Doctor
For future reference you can find a description of all the Stop Codes (also called Bug Check Codes) at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh994433%28v=vs.85%29.aspx, these are valid for both Windows 7 (which used the Bug Check Code) and Windows 8 (which uses the text description). Clicking on the appropriate entry will reveal how to interpret the parameters associated with the error code and give you a clue to what caused the problem.

Note that 0xA (IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL) is almost always a driver problem.

Thank-you, ubuysa. I found that quite resourceful and quite relieved it's not a hardware fault. Have some rep :)
