New pc case.

Hey everyone I am thinking of getting a new pc case.
any suggestions I would like one with a full window and one that looks awesome -I would have bought this one - http://www.inwin-style.com/pd_info.php?id=292 - right now cause I think it looks awesome, I am just not sure about the dust.
also if I have a full window - will my gpu temps go crazy? I will be relying on air for now until I liquid cool my gpus - and currently I have a side fan - case haf-x.

That is going to get dusty very easily. What case do you have? how old is your system? Changing the case is going to be a hassle.

I'm a huge fan of the Corsair 600t, looks the bees knees to me.

I'm running a window instead of fans on my 500r, and the difference in temps isn't noticeable

Probably better to get a window for the haf-x really, seems very wasteful imo to go get a new case after having yours for two months because 'you have money and want to spend it'.

Something like this: http://www.frozencpu.com/products/12195/win-152/Cooler_Master_HAF-X_Series_Custom_DIY_Bolt-On_Full_Window_Kit_w_Black_Trim_430_x_405mm.html OR (where I got my window from) http://www.chilledpc.co.uk/shop/ They don't have a haf-x on their website but I'm sure if you got in touch they'd be able to do something for you (there are also lots of ebay sellers offering to put windows into case panels for a fee so you could easily find one).

As for the inwin case, its more of a test bench for overclockers etc. (or its certainly styled that way) I wouldn't say its really 'meant' for long term storage and 'daily' use of components.

Perhaps I've just got a little bit of the green eyed jealousy monster though because I've got to save up now to purchase anything really!

There's got to be better things to buy than a new case, that's probably the most awkward thing to just change for the hell of it.

Get driving lessons, go on holiday, treat your parents to something, find a pretty lady and waste all your money on a pandora bracelet and charms, buy a couple of new games, buy me game of thrones season 1-3 on bluray, start saving for a car? C'mon man, a 2 month old case should be the last on your list :D

also think about your warranty with PCS? Say if your mobo goes bust in the future (in new case) and the rig needs to go back to PCS. You can't send the new case, so you will have to move everything back into the Haf , and then send it back. That is if transferring your rig into a new case doesn't void the warranty. I think you should check.

As for a case what about the new haf stacker? I think that has a big window on it?

If I remember correctly he built it himself didn't he? I lost track in the end there were so many threads :D

Still though, we're talking what, £100-£200 you've got to spend? Hardly a fortune but not worth pee'ing away. Either save it or buy something worthwhile, but remember...

The excuse of having no money because you're young is no excuse anymore when you're spending thousands on your own gaming room ;)

Spare cash (if such a thing exists) really should either be saved for later in life, or donated to those that need it now. Not getting all preachy about it, but replacing an almost brand new case "just cuz" is bordering on celeb-style selfishness :D Not bashing you b, just highlighting as others have that you do have rather more useful options to use that money for :)

I did not realize I could get a side window for the case! sweet time to buy some other stuff instead :) - just out of curiosity someone on another thread mentioned that evga has released a pro sli bridge looks cool as hell - question will this work with other gtx 780s - and can I buy a tri sli pro bridge and add a 3rd 780 in a few months time? - will it work with 2 for now?

There is very very little benefit to having 3 gpu's.

- Your PSU is nowhere near big enough for three 780's.
- major increase heat and noise output in the whole system.
- major increase power requirements.
- like Keynes said your motherboard isn't capable of supporting tri sli.

1- fair enough
2- I was going to buy a new asus rog mobo and give my mobo to my neighbour whos pc is looking a bit dire atm.
i was also going to liquid cool my cpu and upgrade my ram - also giving my ram to my neighbour to help him out a bit.

The only asus motherboard (as far as I am aware) that will allow you to tri-SLI is socket 2011 which means you also need a new cpu. It is basically getting a new spec. Rather than tri-sli just get 2 stronger GPUs and SLI them. You won't get much benefits from a third gpu.

with all due respect - I have a little cash left over from my pc build - I will start to save my money when I start work - untill then I am enjoying life. - in terms of donating money I try and help people when ever I can i also like to buy things for my self. since I am thinking of upgrading my pc they the old parts I no longer need will be GIVEN to my friends who cant afford nice pc upgrades like myself for FREE.
