Hi all, after much research on the spec for my new pc, i think I've got it down to the spec below.

Any comments or advice welcome.

I've looked into Xeon's and don't think they will benefit me, it's only light/medium duties 3D modelling/rendering and photo editing.

Will be using it for 3dmax, photoshop, and general pc use.

Graphics card will be a quadro m2000.

Bang on budget and should fly!

Thanks.

The 3200MHz DDR4 is about £6 more than this. If you're paying £37 to go from 2133MHz to 2666MHz, you might as well go the extra £6 further.
Motherboard
ASUS® PRIME Z270-P: ATX, LG1151, USB 3.0, SATA 6GBs
You might consider the Z270E for USB 3.1, more sata ports, etc

Thanks. Was looking for a better mb although there is no option to upgrade the mb without going for a 'gaming' model.

Would PCs replace the mb with one not on the list? Maybe the z270 'A'

Probably not given that they don't stock it. The motherboards having "Gaming" in the title is just marketing to make gamers buy it. It might have a couple of features like the Sonic Radar III that are actually designed for gamers, but if you're not gaming then you won't encounter that stuff.

It has LEDs which might be a bit bling for non-gamer but that hardly matters since a) you can turn them off and b) even if you couldn't you won't see them because your Fractal case has no side window.
