The first and 2nd storage drives are the same now, both barracuda 2TB, I have kept the CPU and Graphics card the same but the rest I have changed to what you recomend, I couln't change the processor cooling so left it as is.

The Spec that @AgentCooper posted was far better than what you changed things to.

you are not really gaining anything with overclocked AMD, especially dropping the 3070 for a 1660.

Also power supply puts you in Darwin corner in regards to any future upgrades.

onboard sound is really good quality, I think the strix uses xonar chipset - Edit luckily apparently not.

The reviews for that xonar card are pretty pants.

Your a hard man to please, I have kept the CPU as I cant change it. I have up graded the graphics card to what I can afford at this time, the rest is what you have suggested or near abouts eg( 512 to 1TB for ssd) I had enough for the 1TB, buy reducing HDD from 2TB to 1TB each. I got the bigger power supply for future proof for when I change to a better graphics card.

It’s not about pleasing me, at the end of day I just want you to get the best possible system for your money. And it is your money, you’re welcome to do what you wish with it. It just seems silly to compromise and find yourself in a position where you’ll quite possibly need to buy a new GPU in the next year or two, if it’s an additional expense that can be avoided.

So... I were in your shoes and the system was still in the ‘pre-production’ stage, I’d be contacting customer services at PCS and asking if they’d be able to cancel the build and start again with some advice from the forum.

The choice is yours, my friend 🙂

My advice would be to start listening to said advice before you waste a hell of a lot of money.
