Just got a new PC from PC Specialist. Ordered with Win11 Pro installed.
Turned it on last night just to check all working, and booted into Windows desktop just fine. I was surprised not to have a OOBE (out of box experience, ie setup and personalise).
Today I switched PC on and it booted to an Administrator Account saying "Your account has been disabled. Please contact your system administrator". See pic below.
I rang tech support and they 1. asked me to restore windows, and when I tried to do that I get stuck in an error loop "Windows could not complete the installation. To install Windows on this computer restart the installation".
Now I can't get into Windows at all.
The tech support says I have to reinstall Windows 11 from scratch.
Is he right? Did PC Specialist not setup Windows properly? Did they not go from their generic setup and then enable the OOBE? Is my best option to bite the bullet and reinstall from scratch? Have to say I am not happy about this: didn't spend north of £3k to have to setup the machine myself.
Any thoughts welcome.
