Hi all, i am currently looking at a new pc as the previous one i purchased from another company was broken from the start. i wanted to see if could get some feed back on these specs whether or not they are good enough to record and game with. i will also be doing some editing on this PC from time to time before uploading. thanks

what monitor are you pairing it with, what resolution and refresh rate or make and model if you’re unsure?

last one was from cyberpower, both pc's they sent me broke with similar specs.
my max budget is 1.5k
monitor: HP omen 25 - 144hz refresh rate

I would take the audio card out and put the budget towards the STRIX Motherboard. That should cover all your audio needs and then some. That way you have a better motherboard all round for future potential.

More fitting GPU for 1080p
Better quality PSU with enough headroom for a higher tier GPU (2070 with ease, 2080S without worry)
No CPU cooler required. If you really want one then any 240mm one will be fine.

Just realised the title.... RADEON RELIVE.

Nvidia has Shadow Play as an alternative, just in case it's not a firm rule for you :)

I don't fancy them much for value in all but the most lavish builds.

M2 is silly fast...... even the slow ones. There aren't a lot of scenarios where you would notice a real world difference, they're simply that good.

That being said.... I would want one, I just don't put it in as a priority :)

The arrival of M2 has been one of the most significant jumps in performance I have seen. I cannot see past them for storage.

Hi all, I have a budget of 1.5k and use the HP omen 25 which uses free sync. do any of you think this spec is enough. ill be playing only rainbow six siege and using creative cloud for editing. the pc seems capable of running the game at a steady 130-50 fps on 4K, although idk if this is ok for editing as well,

The limitation is your monitor, it's only 1080p, so there's no point in speccing the PC out for 1440p which is what you have there with the 5700xt as the monitor won't be able to show it. The 1660 Super would be plenty. As above, accounting for video editing which wasn't mentioned previously this would be a better fit:

out of curiosity, is 16gb really enough for video editing?
ill only be editing 1080p videos that will be roughly 15minutes long. and will be 1hour max

If the budget allows then 32GB would be better, but not at the cost of anything else. Ideally you would want a scratch drive too, but all these things cost unfortunately.

I edit 1080p (and sometimes 4k) and have no issues with 16GB. Barely any effects though.

ok, I have changed and edited some components. and wanted to see if the 32gb dual 16gb 3200Mhz. with the rx 5700xt, and the 3600x.
the m.2 drive will be used for game/s (rainbow six siege), OS, and gx browser.
HDD 3TB will be used for storing videos. although I have a drobox account with unlimited storage space that I was thinking I could use to save the videos. for final product and HDD as a place to temporarily store projects I'm working on.
Any Ideas if this is a good or bad idea?
3600x + 5700xt averages at 160-70fps on siege. I know this from videos and also from 1st hand experience when my old pc worked for the 1st two weeks before breaking. if I were to cap the frame rate a 144fps would that be a good idea, or should I cap it at 60 and record at 60fps

My budget allows for both however 16gb is fine for gaming, although i want to know if its ok for edditing 1080P videos with effects.

Seem to be at a cross purpose here. You want 32GB to favour editing...... yet you've dropped an 8 Core processor in favour of gaming? Processor is FAR more important to editing than RAM ever will be IMO.

The Corsair Delta isn't a good choice of case IMO. It's one of the few Corsairs that I wouldn't recommend.
