Could you link to the item you are going to get off Amazon?

To be honest, I would probably steer clear of the PCS-branded cases (I think most of them are by Solleron at the moment, the ones with SR in the name anyway). Nothing against PCS or Solleron, but the current crop looks a little restricted for air intake at the front.

Perhaps the Corsair 570X, the MASTERBOX MB530P, or send in your own case - potentially the Corsair 500D SE if you can get one at a reasonable-ish price. Or one of their new iCUE cases that are a little more affordable.

Thanks very much for the reply.
That's very helpful.

The GPU Im looking at is this:
Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2080 Super Gaming OC 8G

I'm also thinking to change my storage to.

250GB M.2 SSD for system.
2 or 1 TB SSD for gaming.
4TB HDD for photos, movies, (some games), etc.

Aha, great. And yes, that sounds like a good choice for a GPU.

I only asked as sometimes people say they'll buy X on Amazon but it turns out they mean from a marketplace seller, which means they are buying without a warranty. But direct from Amazon is fine. As I guess you know :)

You may want to keep photos on the SSD, as they will load faster. Depends how often you go through the collection or work with them I suppose.

I probably should have mentioned that I will be buying an RTX 2080 Gigabyte from amazon as the one on PCS are Overpriced :O
The pcs 2080 super appears to be Ā£691 on the Intel configurator (but it bizarrely varies depending on which configuration you're on as they're Ā£701 on the AMD ryzen configurator) and that's probably a zotac or palit. So yes probably can source a Gigabyte one slightly cheaper elsewhere from a quick amazon browse.

I'd get faster ram at the very least..

Glad you agree.
Buying straight from Amazon with warranty!

I'll be looking to get a 2TB m.w ssd for storage but at a later date due to budget cuts.

Also the case you suggested "Corsair 570X"
The fans are RGB as it states, but I hope it's not just Red colour but the whole 16.1million of colours that they can be changed to?

I will be going with 32GB (2x16) Corsair Vengance RGB PRO 3200mhz.

The 570X is RGB, and the fans are specifically SP120s by Corsair (the RGB ones, natch)

The catch with Corsair is that they have their own RGB ecosystem going on, so the fans don't work with Aura sync etc, but need one of their special Node or Commander hubs to work.

The iCUE case range, which PCS briefly did but apparently stopped or ran out of, come with a Node ready installed, allowing for software control via iCUE. Or at least the ones I've seen do. You may want to consider the Send your own case option.

I don't think the 570X has a node by default, though there are buttons on the case to control the RGB.

I will still reconsider a different case + would prefer the H115i instead of the H100i Although i don't think they have any major differences?

The H115i is a 280mm rather than 240mm AIO. Often 140mm fans spin slower and are quieter. I don't know if that's also true in this case though and by all accounts the H100i's ML fans are very quiet anyway.

Do you need wifi? If so the AX200 card seems to offer a lot more features for not much more cash at all. If not, you may as well drop the card

Thanks for clearing that up.
I'll have a look at a wifi card, since might be using it.

So the iCUE will synch with the Aurora stuff from what I understand?

The only iCUE case i seen on amazon is this:
Corsair iCUE 465X RGB

I love the way the 570X Corsair case looks but i dont think its iCUE anymore..

You can always add a Node controller or buy it with Extra fans and the controller kit so PCS fit one for you.

I'm not sure if Corsair iCUE works with Asus Aura, Gigabyte Fusion, etc. Or if you have to use their iCUE software. Corsair have been quite jealous with their own ecosystem so I suspect you'd be using iCUE software to control it all.

There's the 465, and the 220T, and some of the very expensive cases like the 500D SE come with controllers etc included.

Sorry that's not more definite, the RGB stuff isn't something I have experience of, hopefully points you the right direction to check things though

It's nearly Christmas so posting on the forum with a 2 hour window for feedback is optimistic :)

If you can go Ā£100 odd more, an AMD R9 3950x build would completely smoke it for video editing / encoding and pretty much keep up in gaming:

~Ā£120 for double the cores and PCIe 4.0 isn't too bad tbh.

I put the 760p SSD in there as the MP600 was out of stock - but it costs ~Ā£40 less than the 970 Evo and even a few quid less than the 760p. 760p was closest in price.

I prefer Intel based Systems so I went with the i9 9900k for the combination of Gaming, Editing & General Usage.
I have just ordered the system today.
Processing stage begins.
Thanks for any advice n help given.
Can be closed I guess.
