The 5600x is the latest generation, the 3700x is the previous generation, so do you take a past generation or a present generation
 
Well I’ll change it to the rmx
But when I called up the other day I was told to go with the 3700x instead of the 5600x because “it has fewer threads and cores so futureproofing will suffer” so I don’t know what to go with in my pc what broke before I had the 3800x
In terms of purely gaming the 5600x out performs the

Sorry I keep asking is this the best I can get the cpu (ryzen 5 5600x) how much more would I have to spend to get the next best

As i said earlier if you go up to the 5800x (next step up), you'll then need to upgrade the motherboard and the cooler

Is there any other changes you would make like a 2nd m.2 ssd or changing something
depends on if you've got the budget, if so i'd add a 500GB 980 M.2 or if you can't stretch to the 980, then look at a 500GB firecuda, this would be for your OS, then games would go on the 670 that you've already got in the spec
