New "Quiet" Desktop PC Required

Hi Guys
Please what Spec should I get , spending between £3-400 , Only require New case as I have everything else
(1) It has to be quiet
(2) I never play Games
(3) I like a fast PC
(4) Generally use PC , Mail , Documents ,Spread-sheets etc
(5) Sometimes Video editing
(6) Family TREE

Oh did I say I like a quiet PC

Graham,

There are definitely people who are better informed than me, but for what you need have you considered a mini PC mate? They're virtually silent as far as I'm aware, and for what you've described it'd be perfect.

Not sure if it's within your price range though.. Cue PCS Gurus!

£400 is a very low budget, but the following comes in at £433, it's got the one of the quietest case PCS sell and a mid-range AMD processor. If you needed to save money you could drop the HDD to a 250GB and drop the processor a notch or two
