Hi Guys,


Previous customer of PCS, bought a nice i7 rig back in 2012 šŸ˜¬


Still going strong, but starting to show its age, so with a budget of Ā£2.5k looking at this spec as a replacement. Mostly play sims, driving and flying, with triple 1080p screens. Let me know what you think. Will probably use my ssd's from current rig too.

Very solid build here!
You can save a little downgrading to the STRIX X-570 motherboard, the Hero is only really needed for the 5950x.
Besides that the build looks very strong. Iā€™ll wait for the more sim knowledgeable people on here to let you know whether the 3060 is sufficient for gaming on 3 1080p screens. 4 1080p screens is the same as 4K, so I think you might benefit from a slightly beefier GPU, but happy to be proven wrong.

This is pretty much exactly what Iā€™m looking at too. Also for sim racing. Although the various Corsair cases (4000D & 5000D) Iā€™d been recommended are out of stock.

Iā€™m very tempted to go with an AMD card as FSR is coming soon. That maybe used more extensively in sim titles than Nvidia's DLSS.

When putting together my build Iā€™m always tempted to put down 64GB Ram. I guess itā€™s not really needed as most other builds seem to be 32GB max!

Quick update, I've upgraded the cooling and the motherboard, just preferred the look of the capellix one, and with all my peripherals I need the extra USB's of the hero, in pre production for 18 days so far šŸ‘šŸ˜šŸ˜¬
