New ssd advice

Looking to get a new ssd drive been looking at around 256 gig and this sticks out Samsung 256GB 830 Series SSD - Solid State Drive any advice on getting a new ssd be great thanks

When looking to buy the best SSD dont forget to look for the Max IOPS

The one mentioned above has up to 80,000 IOPS (3 yr warranty) approx 150£

Sequential Read Speed 520MB/s
Sequential Write Speed 400MB/s
Random Read Speed 80K IOPS
Random Write Speed 30K IOPS

The OCZ Vertex 4 256Gig has up to 85,000 IOPS (5 yr warranty) Approx 170£

Sequential Read Speed 560MB/s
Sequential Write Speed 510MB/s
Random 4k Read Speed 90K IOPS
Random 4k Write Speed 85K IOPS

Above is just to give you an idea of what to look for along with most recent reviews you should be able to find one that best suits your needs. I have OCZ myself and its fantastic. Some have had issues with them before but ended up being a firmware issue which has been resolved since.

OCZ sounds good buzz did read about them had probs in past think thats what put me of but if thats sorted think i may go with that
AGT3-25SAT3-240G - 240GB OCZ Agility 3 SSD, 2.5" SATA 6Gb/s, SandForce 2281, Read 525Mb/s, Write 500Mb/s, 85K IOPS this is a very good price at moment not sure what SandForce 2281 means
