New to PC building.

Hey there, new to the forums and PC building here (ironically I'm doing a computer systems engineering degree.) I've been shopping around for a new PC, one that is a general office/not intensive gaming type. In terms of games, a lot of the stuff on my steam account etc is older stuff, Medieval 2 Total War, CoD2 etc. However I'm also looking to maybe get at playing more recent things, such as Euro Truck Sim 2, Train Sim. I do have a student budget, I've limited it to around £600, and this is what I could come up with. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thank you, seems like an upgrade to my suggestion. Would you recommend wired internet connection over the Wifi? I don't want to faff about with extra routers and wires.

Out of curiosity, will these parts still be available around mid April/May-ish? For the pc you just built that is. Having just bought and paid for my first car, I'll most likely buy after next loan installment.

In all probability the same parts will be available in a few months time (possibly even cheaper - since I waited until "now" to buy my PCS machine instead of buying it in October, I would have saved ~£200 - the only difference being that PCS no longer seem to do the Samsung 840 EVO SSD, but only the higher spec 850). Parts do go out of availability for many reasons though, so you may not be able to get a 100% match in April/May time, but the majority should still be available and the ones that aren't will probably be higher spec (and/or lower cost).

I see, thank you very much for the info. Fingers crossed I can still get the same rig soon and maybe cheaper.
