Hi, I'm looking at purchasing a laptop with a budget of around £1800, it will be used solely for Gaming. I'm looking for a 17inch screen but have no idea what specs I need. I previously have just bought a stock laptop from Curries. I play games such as CoD, Destiny 2, Assasins Creed.. etc.

Any questions please ask, and thanks in advance for any assistance.

Why do you prefer a laptop over a PC? You can get a better spec PC for your budget.

If it needs to be a laptop not a desktop and a 17inch screen with your budget of 1800 pounds, i have specced one below, by all means if anyone more experienced in laptop spec building wishes to add a spec then by all means do so, I thought i would reply to help out at the mo as the thread needs assistance. It also says stock do in 30th May 2021, if you wish to add 1 yr dead pixal guarantee for 17 pounds over budget that may be something to think about.

With Ryzen better get the fastest ram. So in this case I think that the 2933MHz is a must. (I will put a 3200MHz but PCS offer the 2933MHz max)

Be wary of the voltages of the RAM if buying it outside of PCS , I`ve seen SODIMM at 1.35v , they might work , but they will be warmer than RAM using 1.2v .
