HI All. Hope you can shed some light on an issue with my brand new laptop - see spec below. FYI I'm running latest versions of all Adobe CC apps on my current PCS laptop from 2018 - no issues - GTX 1080/64GB ram/i7 8700k/UHD screen etc. Same on apps on my new machine with Nvidia studio driver up to date as well.
I'm getting a "media pending" program screen in premiere when I load the same project from old laptop - all plugins updated for both machines... nothing happens - no timeline scrubbing / rendering. Tried switching CUDA off - software only - still nothing?
I suspect it may be to do with the way the Ryzen 5900HX onboard graphics are playing out as Premiere gives me an option to switch to OpenCL in project settings. Wonder if it will make a difference if I set up multi monitor scenario, so the RTX3080 kicks in? In NVidia control panel it's got the Ryzen Grfx feeding the laptop panel - may this be an issue?
Thought this new PCS machine would be a plug and play monster but seems not?!?
