New work Laptop Advice Budget £500

My friend is looking for a new laptop for office work use primarily and what they are looking for is a 14" screen Intel i5 or i7 processor, 4 or 8 GB RAM, SSD storage, graphics card (geforce ??) to be able to run microsoft office based programs and adobe photoshop comfortably and the budget is £500.

any advice on specs would be greatly appreciated.

You're going to struggle to find something with those specs for that price (especially if you mean a dGPU that is meaningfully better than integrated graphics, unlike say a 920M).

Your best bet will be to try to find an off the shelf model on sale.

From PC Specialist's options, no. They don't really have anything in that price range.

Well, they have the Ultranote IV LE, but it has a Celeron N4200 and you really ought to check your off-the-shelf options before even considering it.
