No Internet shown when websites are loading.

My PC is connected via ethernet. It states that there is No Internet. But websites and discord and other software that requires an internet connection are loading fine. I have unplugged and replugged in the ethernet cable at each end and that hasn't changed it. Any ideas what I should do?

Maybe you're connecting by wi-fi, what does it show if you click on network & internet settings?

Try flushing the DNS cache - ipconfig /flushdns.

I don't have a WiFi adapter.

It caches the mapping between domain names and IP addresses. If a duff mapping gets stored in there it will be used in preference to sending a request to a DNS server.

It's also not uncommon for malware to pollute your DNS cache to direct you to fraudulent websites that look like the real thing.
